 I am comming here today in shock, so please bare with me. My older sister sent me an email this morning, and I have spent ALL day trying to find ways to help her. My sister is a college student going to school to be a Medical Assistant, the school messed up her class schedule and just dropped 2 of her classes 1/2 into the crediting semester and will not credit her accordingly like they are suppose to. So sense they did that she is very depressed and her (now) ex abandond them, had them evicted and destroyed my sisters car,stole over $7,000 from her, and now that she has nothing she wants to be close to family to try to start over and get back on her feet. She quit school, to move home to PA to be with me, so we can help each other out.

  My sister has 3 little boys (5,3, and 1yr) she no longer has a car (because of her ex.) and her last pay-check (well whats left of it after buying food for my nephews.) which she is going to be mailing it to me to have me get us a place to rent (hopping we can find one).I am trying to get her to sell her bed and large things and mail her clothes and take a bus.(but she wants to get a U-Haul.) Sense she has no vehicle we can't get a pull behind trailer. So I checked prices for U-Haul & Penske Rental Trucks. We can't rent one for under $1,600.00, and that is with no truck coverage, no dolly (or other moveing supplies) which being just her trying to move all her stuff the dolly and furnature covers would be very helpfull. If we get coverage,and moveing supplies that just upped the rental to $2,000.00, now this does not count gas coverage. A U-Haul has a 37gal. gas tank and gets about 8 miles to a gal. (they claim 6-10 miles) she has 1,666 mile drive (thats if there are no detours.) with gas prices being between $3.75-5.01 a gal, she needs another $1,000 for gas. Thats putting her at needing between $2,600-$3,000.00 for this move...but she is one person with 3 kids, she needs to stop and sleep at night.(she also isn't a night driver, she has a hard time seeing at night,and doesnt feel comfotable doing it with her kids.) To be on the safe side she needs about $200 for motel stay.(she should only need to spend one night in a motel, but if there are any problems,delays she could need to stay at another motel before she gets here.) She is in need to get moved ASAP. The storage unit she has her stuff in her rental-lease runs out March 11th,and she can't afford to renew it, and her stay at the shelter runs out March 4th, if there are openings at one in a town over she will be able to have shelter until March 11th. When it comes down to it, her deadline is March 11th to get the money to move to PA.

I know this is ALOT of money, and Im sure not many can afford to help with much,and I dont expect that anyone can help with all of it, but if you can donate any small amount, it will help her.Gas gift cards for Country Fair would be GREAT help,(or even SAM's Club gas cards). Please if anyone can PLEASE help my sister get home so we can help each other, I will forever be greatfull.

My daily prayer is that God will have mercy on my children. I ask that he bless me with the ability to show my children a stable ,loving, home enviorment. I don't need riches but right now  have nothing but love! I have been working since i was 14, My mother left me a house and overdue bills at 18.  have always been playing catch up to keep a roof over my head. Sad to say in May  my children and i were placed on the streets and two weeks later  was layed off! i am a 32 year old divorced Mother of three who has been living from house to house try to avoid adding a homeless shelter to my childrens childhood memories. I am prayng.  have cried.  I even gave up for a moment. But  am back! My kids need  ME! my kids need You! I am n ot asking for a hand out so that i dont have to work or so that i can live in the Lap Of Luxurey. All  am As asking for is the help that someone gave you. Resources please. Have an one Bedroom Apt  with utilities included that i can move into on Oct.15.But I need 585 for security and first months rent. I have no furniture and i have to move out off the are of my childrens charter school and  dont drive so am going to need help with transport. I Know that there are places available to aisst me, my situation is not unique but i dont know who or where but you do  so please help! My name is Barbara . I live in Delaware.  I have been married for 18 years to what I thought was a wonderful man. Three years ago he was diagnosed as bipolar with psychotic episodes and placed on Soc Security Disability. In March of this year his father passed away after a long illness and he stopped taking his bipolar and psychotic meds.  What a mistake!! He became violent with me and was taken out of the home by police and is now encarcerated and has been since May.  He is awaiting trial on a felony charge involving trying to kill me.  The courts have ordered a complete mental health evaluation on him before trial is even scheduled. Needless to say since he is incarcerated on a felony charge he is not entitled to his social security disability so there is NO income coming in from him at all.  I am working full time and trying to raise 3 kids ages 13, 6, and 3 alone.  We had filed for Ch 13 bankruptcy at the time of his diagnosis and now I am stuck paying for the post petition payments as well as current mortgage payments and household expenses.  I cannot afford to do this and my home will be in foreclosure very soon. I NEED HELP. I have filed for divorce and property division but that can take some time to resolve.  I need the help to keep my family afloat until all this can be resolved.  CAN ANYONE HELP ME??? Neither one of these (prosper or modestneeds.org) are worth anything, I applied twice and was turned down both times. This after I have no job, my car was repossessed, I can't pay my rent and I suicidal & they won't help!? Then they want you to right just the perfect application story!??? Unfreakin'believable!? I am more than discouraged, and feeling hopeless. As far as me, it's too late for my job & car, they are both gone. Suicidal, I've tried twice now, but pulled outta both, although my ears are still ringing. Better luck next time! Yes, I'm fed up & disgusted.

This is the first time i've visited, let alone have seen this page.  It sounds promising and i pray its real.  i've used up a majority part of today and yesterday on the computer trying to get payday loans. unfortunately there was nothing that turned up.  My bills consist of my car note,- which they came by today, but thankfully my friend had my truck so it wasn't out there and i Just didn't answer the door.  i told them i would have it today only because i thought i would.  My storage is due, actually way past due, its in jeopardy of being sold, which i have to pay  by tomorrow the 30th, and my stuff is in storage because i had to move back to my mothers house, from my brothers house-there was a busted pipe in the winter time,ice everywhere, had to be confined to 1 room because we could see our breath in the house- that went on for 1 1/2 months- i could write a whole paragraph with the things that went wrong in that house  and we stayed there for 9 months- but that was just the straw that broke the camels back... now back at my mothers with my 3 children- girls-15yr twins and 10year old... I had my children kinda early  and never was ever really able to get ahead, usually breaking even, or ends barely meeting but as of lately-- the last 3years has been soooo trying for me and my kids.  Ive gotten rich in lessons but not in finance department.. we desparately have to move out of my mothers house- its overcrowded cuz me and my kids are not the only ones here, which is fine, its just that my mom has always been there for me and the rest of my siblings but she really needs a break and i feel like a burden.. I'm making active steps to get my life together like getting my past school loans together so i can go back soon and sending out resumes all the time, starting gigs- only later to find that the pay is contingent on selling an amount of something- or no job security. i've applied for unemployment and they say i'm not eligible due to some red tape "i don't have to give you your government insured money" BS ... WOW  i wish i still worked at my old job- i got laid off 3months ago and i paid sooo well, i'm thankful i was able to pay off other debt s at the time, whle i had it.... i call up there all the time to see if they 're rehiring... no is always the answer " The contracts are slow"-  i apologize if i'm getting long winded, but i guess since i can't do anything about it , i might as well get it off my chest and i pray my words and my situation will land on someones heart out there and reach out to me to help me, because WOW i really need it!!!  I need $3000 to change me and my kids life permanently, I  will be forever thankful.  i've learned a great deal and i've vowed that i would never go broke again. all i need is some one to help me with that next step so i can walk on my own and eventually start running.  . thank you

i really don't know where to start. i'm a single mother of 3 children 13,4 and 9 months.i was in an abusive relationship for 5 years and finally broke down and had him arrested when he dislocated my shoulder.i pressed charges and hes now doing 3 years in florida. when we were together i was'nt aloud to get a job, when i did finally get one i had to quit because i was making more money than him. i'm 29 years old and i can't find a job, i dont know if its because of my work history or lack of work period, i basically have no family to turn to, its ironic because my kids grandparents (exes parents) live right above me. their just as bad as he is. they see my 4 year old outside and walk right past her like se does'nt exist. i don't know what to do anymore. i try my best to keep a roof over my kids head and try not to let them see the pain i'm in. i'm 2 months behind in rent, we had our electric turned off but i managed to come up with the money to get it turned back on. i'm not asking anyone for $1,000,000,000 . i would even make a promise to pay back whatever was given to me when i get on my feet. i'm not even really asking for money but if someone would just hire me that would be even better. i'm not a stupid person, i'm actually very smart and intellagent. and a quick learner. please someone help!

   I am a mother of three children living in Freetown, Sierra Leone and at the same time sponsoring 5 ophan kids along side with my chidren, but unfortunately my husband who has been helping me with the kids is out of job, my meagre wage cannot not meet the average need of my kids.
